Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Great teaser! I enjoyed this book but I enjoyed The Kite Runner more.
ReplyDeleteI love to find books with underlining or notes in the margins. I do this all the time to my own books and I love to discover the notes of others and think about why the previous owner/reader thought those lines were important.

That's a very powerful teaser! Good choice!
ReplyDeleteI loved both of his books! Did you read The Kite Runner? It was even better than A Thousand Splendid Suns (I thought)....but both of his books...such a powerful punch he puts into his writing without any effort it seems. Such a beautiful writer. Ahh, makes me want to go pull out my copies of both books again and start all over! but wait, I went to the bookstore today....and came out with 2 big bags (shhh, don't tell anyone - least of all my wallet!)
