What I liked most about the book was the way the 3 supporting character were portrayed as clearly having the things that were seeking.

I think that it is a nice reminder that sometimes we just have look into ourselves to find those qualities that we wish we have. Every person has the potential to be what they want, they just have to search for it.Rebecca Chapmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14144719070318640603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1238346131297388886.post-30578632292470044402010-02-24T14:07:46.652-05:002010-02-24T14:07:46.652-05:00I read this as an adult as a read-aloud to my sons...I read this as an adult as a read-aloud to my sons. I remember finding it a lot scarier than the film, and a little hard going but not much else I'm afraid. I think I'll have to try it again as an adult.

I have an award for you... http://rhiana-reads.blogspot.com/2010/02/blog-award.htmlVickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14052783125623785679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1238346131297388886.post-44367450511410486982010-02-17T18:24:00.824-05:002010-02-17T18:24:00.824-05:00Great review! Honestly, I was always creep out by the movie as a child, but then again that's how I felt towards Alice in Wonderland and Willy Wonka. Either way, I really do want to read this book after reading your review and even those passages you inserted.

By the way, I'm looking at your Coming Soon sidebar and A Thousand Splendid Suns is a book I definitely want to read. I want to read the Kite Runner first though.
